Information for Electricians
Millwork Lighting Systems should be installed by professional electricians.
Millwork Lighting is easy to install during the building process. Before the drywall is hung, along with the rest of the electrical work, our low voltage wiring should be run to each location your client wants to place one of our lighting fixtures. We supply all the wiring and tools needed to rough-in the locations during the building process, before the final step of installing the fixtures takes place.
All Millwork Lighting purchases include everything needed to install the entire system. In addition to the fixtures themselves, each package includes candelabra bulbs, control panel, low voltage transformer, Lutron light dimmer switch, fixture wire, rough-in components, and speciality drill bits. Six to eight candle systems include one switch and one transformer. All other systems include two switches and two transformers.
Millworking Lighting can also be retrofitted to already existing homes. Although easier to install during new construction, it is possible to fish the wiring to the central control panel to achieve the same one-switch-controls-it-all system.
Rough-in for Millwork Lighting fixtures. All fixtures install the same way.
